Vous c’est l’eau c’est l’eau qui vous sépare…

I’m back from Belle-île-en-Mer. The problem is, I’m so tired and so much happened that I don’t know where to begin. It was both wonderful and grueling, 13 hour days, conversations around the table at night, bad jokes, fast friends. I’m slightly melancholy, to tell the truth, to be back in Paris after breathing the wonderful ocean air for two weeks. I don’t know what to do with myself… even the FIAC didn’t tempt me to go out. Perhaps, and this happens even to the best of party panthers, perhaps I’m savouring the delicious sadness of solitude. Or perhaps it’s just burnout.

Jersey Island

Oh, just thinking about that lobster punching its claw repeatedly against the lid while I held it down in pure sadistic glory makes me smile. All the hot saunas and all the nipple-erecting waters in the world won’t change the fact I put an inch on the waistline.
